Russell Brand was arrested yesterday for assaulting a paparazzo that was taking pics of them at the airport and Katy claims he was trying to take pics up her shirt….now that’s just wrong…and you wonder why you got hit!
The shutterbug made a citizen’s arrest, after which airport police took over. They took Brand into custody and hauled him off to the LAPD’s Pacific Divison station, where he was booked on suspicion of battery and released on his own recognizance.
Katy took to Twitter to defend her man…
