Tom Cruise finally settled his lawsuit with Bauer Publishing after the magazine back down on the allegation he had abandoned daughter Suri Cruise after his divorce from Katie Holmes in 2012. Bauer Publishing and Cruise’s lawyer released a joint statement together, “Bauer Publishing, as well as In Touch and Life & Style magazines, never intended to communicate that Tom Cruise had cut off all ties and abandoned his daughter, Suri, and regret if anyone drew that inference from anything they published.” The terms of the settlement are confidential.
Cruise denied the stories saying he was always in contact with Suri, but had to shoot a movie in another country.”I have in no way cut Suri out of my life — whether physically, emotionally, financially or otherwise,” Cruise wrote at the time of the accusation.
