Madonna has always been a controversial figure in pop music she is used to it by now but she stirred the pot yesterday when she took to Instagram and posted a photo of her son, Rocco while boxing with the caption, “No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out!#disni–a.” She quickly deleted the writing but like everything on the internet is spread like wildfire and but not before Madonna addressed the ‘haters’…”Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d–k haters!”Then she had a change of heart realizing her huge boo boo….and added a new Instagram message apologizing for her flub.”I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur…I am not a racist. There’s no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention…It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”
Adding, “MY job is to inspire and bring people together . My message has always been about tolerance and non judgement. The last thing I want to do is bring chaos or cause separation in anyway. #revolutionoflove.”
This truly is one of those topics that garners a lot of criticism. People should just stop using it!
