Rihanna may have finally settled her lawsuit with her former accounting firm over bad advice they gave her in 2009. According to Page Six the pop princess may have landed a whopping $10 million from the accounting firm, Berdon LLP and accountant Peter Gounis  that gave her the green light to buy a $7 million when they knew she couldn’t afford it and was in the red. Rihanna’s lawyer Edward Estrada wrote, “The defendants advised Ms. Fenty by e-mail that purchasing a home in Los Angeles ‘would be a good investment’ despite knowing Ms. Fenty was experiencing financial difficulties.” Rihanna then had to spend over a $1 million in repairs for the home that was rotting from water and mold damage and she then sold the home for $2 million less than. She fired the firm and sued them for $35 million in 2012, but now she may be settling for over $10 million. Rihanna has since recovered from her near bankruptcy.
