Kristen Stewart plans to lay low for a while and take some time off from acting to work on other ‘forms of art.’ Stewart who skyrocketed to fame after starring in Twilight tells USAToday she’s been working for two years straight and just wants a little time to do something else…”I’m taking some time off because I’ve been working for two years. I’m an actor and that’s my art form, and because I started that so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I’m going to take so much time off.”
She adds, “I’m going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I’m going to make some (stuff) with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I’m making a short film. I’m making a bunch of (stuff). I don’t know how I’ll put it out. But I’m not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time.”
I’m sure her hiatus won’t be long, but at she’s happier then ever right now. “I’m really happy right now, overly happy. I’m definitely not looking furtively – I like to look around at (stuff). I feel great. I’m not overcoming fear right now.”
Everyone needs time off to decompress!
Kristen can now been seen in Camp X-Ray (about a simple young soldier at assigned to Guantanamo Bay), out now in limited release.
