English socialite Peaches Geldof has died. The actress/writer/model was found in her home in Kent, England. According to the BBC police were called to the home following concern for a woman, “Police were called at 13:35 on 7 April, 2014 to an address near Wrotham following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. A woman aged 25 was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service. Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death.”
Peaches had previously battled drug abuse and her mother, Paula Yates, died of a drug overdose in 2000. But it is still unclear the cause of her death. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Cohen and their two sons, Astala, 2 this month, and Phaedra, 1 this month. Cohen released a statement, “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons. I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.”
