A singing competition sequel blew past a post-apocalyptic world this weekend at the box office. “Pitch Perfect 2” went to #1 at in theaters with $70.3 million beating “Mad Max: Fury Road” who made $44.4 million. Somewhere Elizabeth Banks is screaming from the roof tops. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” came in third with $39 million. “Mad Max” did a little better internationally than “Pitch.”
