Imagine Ryan Gosling had been on Gilmore Girls, well it almost happened, but he was late and a blond. Gosling read for a small part as a football character—maybe vying for Rory’s heart! The revelation came during the Gilmore Girls Fan Festival on October 21 in Connecticut when asked about actors who “got away.”
“I rolled my eyes because he was late, and he was blond,” said Jami Rudofsky, Gilmore Girls‘ casting director. She says he was ‘amazing’, but he just didn’t have it when he tried out for the show. “Everyone was like, ‘Really, Jami?'”
