Sofia Vergara’s embryo lawsuit is getting way uglier. Remember those frozen embryos Sofia created with her ex-fiance Nick Loeb, but things got a little more complicated. In case you forgot Sofia has since married an new man and has no desire to create a family with her ex, he (Nick) on the other hand is gung ho to continue life with the fertilized eggs (he wants to use a surrogate) and raise the kids by himself he says!
So here is where things get sticky—Nick says this is his chance at fatherhood, but Sofia’s camp explains that he already has his chance in the past as two of his ex-girlfriends had abortions (beyond his control he says), over 20 years ago. According to Page Six, A California judge upheld Vergara’s request that Loeb reveal the names of the women who terminated their pregnancies, Loeb appealed the decision, but the Court of Appeals decide to side with Vergara. Loeb says he doesn’t want the women’e names to go public and be shamed. Loeb tells Page Six, “I would rather go to jail than reveal the names. I believe we have to protect a woman’s right to privacy.”
Vergara wants to destroy the embryos—sad I know but she’s moved on to another relationship after a failed one with Loeb. This wouldn’t bean issue if he would just move on….WE say move on guy!
