Yes, Alicia Keys bared her naked face on the red carpet for the 2016 BET Awards. Yes when a ton of other women where piling on the makeup (there is nothing wrong with tat I love a made up face), Keys decided she wanted to go a little understated—and by that we mean she wore NO MAKEUP.
Keys recently opened up on her insecurities in a Lenny Letter.“Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn’t put on makeup: What if someone wanted a picture?? What if they POSTED it??? These were the insecure, superficial, but honest thoughts I was thinking. And all of it, one way or another, was based too much on what other people thought of me.”
Is she starting a makeup-free revolution like she wants?
