Avatar star, Sam Worthington was arrested for fighting and had to be arrested according to TMZ. Worthington was denied entrance to the restaurant, Vortex in Atlanta after he was deemed too intoxicated to enter and then he got into an argument because he did not have a valid ID with him to enter the club. He then became disorderly and allegedly pushed the doorman twice and had to be subdued with pepper spray and cuffed until police came. The incident was captured on surveillance video.Worthington was charged with disorderly conduct for fighting, he is currently in Atlanta to shoot the movie,”Ten.”
Update: Charges dropped!
Under the category “Swift Justice,” the charges against Sam were dismissed this morning in court. We’re told the case was thrown out because the complaining witness was a no-show in court.
