Wow, it’s already 2020 and we are knee-deep in new drugstore beauty buys. The drugstore is really after our wallets. I love it when this year rolls around and we get to stroll the drugstore aisle looking to pick up new goodies and 2020 is already off to a great start. There are times when I make excuses just to go to my local CVS. Yes, I might just need toothpaste, but who’s really going to skip the beauty aisles, I mean it’s all a necessity if you think about it.
The drugstore (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Duane Reade, etc) is no longer just a place to pick up your prescription and a few rolls of toilet paper. It’s a highly convenient, but it’s the place where all the cool kids get their makeup from ( or at least I think so )! Brands are getting bigger and the packaging is getting prettier and end caps are the new water cooler gossip spot. And let’s not forget that drugstore brands are now sharing their shelves with formerly department store only labels. So who’s here for that hot new mascara or a dry conditioning mist all on a budget.
