Melissa Rivers has hired a lawyer to investigate the death of her mother, Joan Rivers. The comedian died at age 81 just last month when she stopped breathing during a throat procedure at a local NYC clinic.
River’s lawyer, Ben Runbinowitz of law firm of Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz told ABCNews, “In order to fully determine all of the facts and circumstances surrounding the death of Joan Rivers we confirm that our firm has been engaged by Melissa Rivers and her family.”
Melissa gave her mother Joan the funeral she always wanted which was a star studded affair. And Melissa also stated that Fashion Police would continue despite her mother’s death. Melissa and her son Conner are set to inherit millions.
