Vanessa Hudgens is very ‘upset’ over the latest nude photos that have surfaced of her! Totally understanable, but people need to stop taking nude photos of learning to take care of them better so they don’t leak!
“Vanessa is deeply upset and angered that these old photos, which were taken years ago, continue to resurface,” attorney Christopher Wong said in a statement obtained by E! News.
“It is particularly disturbing that whoever got hold of these private photos seems to be intent on illegally leaking them out over a long period of time. We are actively working with law enforcement to determine who is responsible and hold them accountable for their actions.”
It’s sad if the same person is leaking the photos over time…it just shows some sort of malicious intent!
Vanessa also plans to sue, Moejackson.com, for refusing to take down the photos according to TMZ,
Vanessa is suing the owners of www.moejackson.com, claiming the website posted and refused to take down nude, “self-portrait photographs” taken in a private home. The photos were taken on a cell phone. The suit doesn’t mention the photos show Vanessa naked, but the pics on the site tell the story.
As for how the photos got out, the lawsuit explains, “The photos were obtained by unknown methods and posted on the internet by an unknown person without Hudgens’ knowledge or consent.”
Interestingly, Vanessa registered the nude photos with the U.S. Copyright Office.
Vanessa’s lawyers cried copyright violation but Butter Media, the company that owns the website, was unmoved.
So Vanessa has filed a federal lawsuit and is asking the judge for an injunction, ordering the site to take the photos down. She also wants damages.
How can people sell photos that don’t belong to them?
