Talk about thrifty—Mila Kunis stopped by Conan last night and dropped some major gossip on her wedding rings!! The Bad Mom star confessed that while hubby Ashton Kutcher got her a very beautiful engagement ring, they were low-key with their rinds—-like $90 on Etsy low-key!“I can’t believe that I’m telling anybody this story,” Mila told Conan O’Brien. “So, my husband and I got married a little while ago. He got me a beautiful engagement ring. Like, stunning, stunning, stunning! But for our wedding bands – for when we got married – I decided to just get them off of Etsy.”
Of course Conon chimed in on Mila’s frugality, “Now, listen. I’ve been talking to you for years and I’ve always loved the fact that you’re frugal. You’re very up front about that.”
“That’s a nice way of saying ‘cheap,’” Mila said laughing. “But yes. I wanted the thinnest possible platinum band. I mean, you can’t see it, but it’s super, super thin.” Mila said no way the the super expensive Tiffany & Co. wedding bands the couple looked at. “I was like, ‘They’re how much? This is astronomical. So, I went on Etsy and I was like, ‘$90?’ I was like, ‘Buy now!’ Ashton‘s was $100, so technically his wedding band was a little bit more expensive.”
I find her story charming and so real.
