American Idol hasn’t been off the air for a year and it may have already found its revival on gasp—NBC. The old FOX hit may land on the same network as its formal rival ‘The Voice’ according to Variety! So sources close to the situation, Fremantle has pitched bringing American Idol to NBC and the network is mulling it over. One option being considered is cutting The Voice back to one cycle a year and adding Idol.
Would you watch American Idol on another network? Do you think the show should be resurrected already? We see that Amercia’s Next Top Model is doing well on VH1 so maybe Idol wants a little of that action…but with a new host and panel. Idol ran from 2002 until 2016 and was ratings gold for 8 years starting in 2003.
