Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ divorce court date has been set for May 6 after an uphill battle including one of Humphries’ lawyers, Marshall Waller quitting the case after claiming he had difficulty obtaining evidence from Kardashian’s entertainmemtn companies and wanted to part ways with Humphries. “[Humphries] has had more than adequate time to prepare,” L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney said during the hearing.”We want a trial because that’s the only way this will end,” Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser previously told PEOPLE. “There was no fraud. They have no case.”
Kardashian and Humphries will have to appear in court in person for an April 12 hearing for a last attempt to settle the case.
