Katy Perry admits to having a painful divorce, but she tells W Magaizne on how ‘Roar’ is about ex-husband, Russell Brand who famously ended their marriage via text.”If you are not happy with something, you should change it. So I went to a lot of therapy, and finally, I am able to speak up for myself: You are going to hear me roar!” She never mentions Russell but we know that’s what she is talking about in ‘Roar.’ But Katy did like being married, “I really loved it. It was a new, fun, exciting journey. But I like how I am now, and I think all things happen for a reason.”
Katy also reveals she had a crush on her boyfriend, John Mayer.”I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great.”
I always thought Katy and Russell made no sense, at least to me. Not oil and vinegar bad, but just not compatible…personality wise! She is so bubbly and cute! Love her!
