A new report has hit that internet that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is gay and had been in a relationship with his longtime assistant/roommate, Kevin Lanflisi. According to Radar the story began on the website TheFameDriven.com, which claims that Lanflisi and Rodgers had a falling-out after Rodgers decided not to come out as gay as part of a group of NFL athletes that were planning to reveal their sexuality publicly. Lanflisi then moved from Rodgers’ Wisconsin home and moved to California.
There are a ton of photos of the men together that were on Lanflisi’s Twitter which have since been removed. But all the photos looks like friends posing together, but there is one selfie in which Lanflisi is wearing Rodgers’ Super Bowl after the Packers’ 2011 win. A source told The Fame Driven that Lanflisi “was also the first person Aaron embraced when the Packers won the Super-bowl in 2011,” and since the alleged fall out Lanflisi has been writing “bitter subliminal” which hinted to a relationship not just a friendship with the famed footballer.
Rodgers had been linked to model/friend, Destiny Newton. The site pulled an old interview in which Aaron addressed his close friendship with Kevin. “Kevin, he’s not a famous person. I want to see if they give Kevin the time of day, or if they big-time him.” And in another 2008 interview he said, “I’ve got a roommate, a guy I met in town. He works for the Packers now as an athletic trainer, but he was interning when I met him and we just hit it off. He’s been great for me as far as great conversations outside of football. Our friendship goes a lot deeper than what we do.”
This all seems like speculation…no real facts! But in the end does it matter!
