Just when we all thought Amanda Bynes’ NYC move would keep her out of the media, she does something weird again. Bynes stopped by Little Cupcake Bakeshop in New York City and spent so much time in the bathroom that a local firefighter, who needed to use the bathroom and threatened to knock down the door. Bynes allegedly did not hear him because she was wearing headphones and applying her makeup. A sources says the situation was ‘blown out of proportion.
A source tells E! News that the troubled starlet, wearing sunglasses and headphones for most of her stay there, spent a large chunk of time in the restroom.
Meanwhile, a local firefighter, who happened to be in the bakery at the time, needed to hit the head and began knocking on the door. But because Bynes had her headphones on, she probably couldn’t hear him, our source says, adding that the situation got blown “out of proportion” when the firefighter wanted to kick open the door.
The source says the firefighter was allegedly on the phone with the police, requesting permission to kick the door in when Bynes came out of the restroom. The actress apologized, saying she was merely putting on her makeup.
Bynes continued to keep to herself, did not exhibit any odd behavior and just seemed like someone who wanted privacy, recalls the source.
