Erika Van Pelt was sent home last night on American Idol after the judges choose not to save her! Erika sang Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” on Wednesday night and received good compliments from the judges. Erika sang for her life but Randy and the Jennifer and Steven declined to save her. Steven Tyler was surprised by his Aerosmith band mate, guitarist Joe Perry for his birthday. Steven turns 64 on March 26.
