Ariana Grande Escapes Donut Charges! Or Maybe Not…

2014 MTV Video Music Awards - Arrivals

Whether she calls it a donut or a doughnut, Ariana Grande will not have to worry about those donut licking charges after the owner of Wolfee Donuts declined to get the pop diva in trouble with the law. “The owner of Wolfee Donuts declined to press charges against Ms. Grande and this incident was documented to assist the Department of Environmental Health only,” the sheriff’s department said.

Ariana came under fire for not only licking a donut and but then saying “I hate America” over a tray of donuts. She later apologized and explained that she is concerned with America’s eating habits. She then apologized again. “I just wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole doughnut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology I posted, I was…I like kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is, like, not, I feel like, relative.”

The shop owner,  Joe Marin may go after Ariana after all. “I’ve been hearing that I decided not to press charges. I don’t know where that came from…I did press charges. When I was reading the newspapers they said I decided not to, and I don’t know where that came from.”
