Best friends Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini are finally working together. After years of #BestFriendGoals, the duo will team up for Jennifer’s latest project, a romantic comedy titled, Second Act. According to Deadline, the movie which will take place in Queens NY and will follow JLo as she goes from Big Box store worker to Madison Ave after she reinvents her life and lifestyle and shows that streets smarts might just triumph over a college degree. Leah will join the cast as Joan—-you guessed it—Jennifer’s best friend fellow Big Box employee from Queens.
Jennifer confirmed the casting news with a sweet photo with Leah, adding, “Every Lucy needs an Ethel. Look who is doing a movie together!! #SecondAct.”
