Beyonce may love her fans, but she is getting sued by two die-hard fans who were looking to get as close to the stage as possible, but were trampled instead! According to CBS Chicago, Raquel Castellanos and Gabriella Davidson are suing United Center, Live Nation Entertainment and Beyonce for their injuries, which included broken bones. Here’s what went down, the ladies purchased general admission tickets to one of Beyonce’s concert stop in Chicago and the ladies planned to get to the venue early (at one of the venue gates) to get a prime spot in front of the stage.
The lawsuit explains, “As the hours passed, the group became larger, more dense and more anxious about how, when and where the gate(s) would be released and where ticket holders and fans were supposed to enter The United Center — none of which was explained.” The ladies allegedly grew anxious as the crowd grew larger and did not know what was the protocol when the gates opened. When the gates did open everyone rushed forward, pushed and ran towards the United Center without any organization and the ladies were trampled they claim. they say two other ladies, attending the concert helped them, and then two police officers and were later taken to the hospital.
A spokeswoman for Live Nation did not immediately comment on the suit, and representatives for Beyonce and the United Center could not be reached. The ladies are looking for unspecified damages.
