Brad Pitt plans to go full force to share custody of his six kids with Angelina Jolie. Brad and Angelina are currently being investigated for an altercation during a flight recently. Sources say there may have been a fight between Brad and Angelina and oldest son, Maddox may have intervened and contact may have been made.
“He has cooperated [with the investigation],” a source tells Us Weekly. “He certainly wants what’s best for his kids and for them to be in the best environment, and he’ll do anything that will put them in the best position. Angelina is a good mother. Brad appreciates and respects her and knows she’s a good mother. He knows that it’s important to do what’s right for the kids, whatever that is going to be. … These reports about abuse on the plane are exaggerated or fabricated.”
“[The split] does come down to differences in lifestyle and parenting. Brad and Angelina had arguments which, over time, became progressively more frequent. And it was something where it did appear that this had run its course, but Brad was still hoping to work it out, and ultimately that didn’t happen.”
But Brad was blindsided by the divorce. “He is beside himself and has been crying. He was completely caught off guard and blindsided and had no idea she would do this. Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He is completely devastated and beside himself. He is a shattered man. He’s extremely upset. But he is totally focused on just being helpful and making sure his kids are doing as well as possible.”
