Bradley Cooper will head back to Broadway in ‘The Elephant Man’ beginning this fall. The ‘American Hustle’ star was last seen on Broadway back in 2006′s ‘Three Days of Rain’ with Julia Roberts and Paul Rudd. Cooper will take on the title role and play John Merrick, the severely deformed, but soulful man in the play. The play will differ from the 1980 movie as prosthetics and makeup will not be used, he will show his disfigurement through physicality. This is not Cooper’s first time taking on the role, he also played Merrick in a 2012 production at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
