Calvin Harris was injured in a car accident on her way to Los Angeles airport on Friday. According to TMZ, Calvin was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV at around 11 PM when a VW Bug convertible crossed over the center lane and crashed into the vehicle, it was being driven by a 16-year-old girl and filled with teens. The impact was so hard and violent that a passenger (who was sitting on her boyfriend’s lap) was ejected from the VW.
Calvin’s injury was a little less severe—he had a laceration to his face and needed medical attention. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he didn’t stay long since they didn’t have a private room and he left …”against medical advice.” The driver of the VW was also taken to the hospital along with her ejected passenger who reportedly has a broken pelvis.
Calvin‘s rep released a statement on Facebook, “Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.”
