That’s awkward…Ciara was put in a very difficult situation. She was announcing the nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Monday, when she stopped dead in her track and could not same the nominee—well it was her ex-fiance Future, who she has a very volatile relationship with. She was able to name Drake, Fetty Wap, Silento and Wiz Khalifa until Future’s name came up in the “Top Rap Artist” category and Ludacris has to step in the say Future’s name.
And Ciara opened up about her planned pregnancy and then becoming a singe mother. “I’d always wanted to have my own family. My pregnancy was planned when I was at a point in my life when I was finally ready to take on the responsibility.” She added, “But the moment I realized I was going to be a single mother, I had to reflect and reorganize my thoughts. I decided to trust that God had a plan for me, and move forward one day at a time.” But its all ok—she’s now engaged to Russell Wilson. “Marriage is something I look forward to. I believe in family, and the beauty of two people committing to spend their lives together. We talk about everything. To me, to both of us, that’s the foundation you need for love to flourish and reach its highest place.”
