Eyelashes are not my best asset…I would call them puny! I’ve even considered getting extensions…but I am a little weird about by eyes so mascaras are my peepers best friend! I had the opportunity to check out CoverGirl’s latest mascara the LashBlast Bombshell Mascara (I was provided a sample for review!) and the two part system gave me thicker, fuller lashes.

Flaunt the next big thing in lashes with Bombshell Volume by LashBlast Mascara! The brilliant two-step Bombshell Boost System combines extreme volume with an intensifying top coat for big, sexy bombshell lashes. Step One: Apply the extreme volume basecoat. Step Two: Finish with the intensifying top coat.

Check out my review below!

I will start off my saying that I don’t have the longest lashes and the width is on the normal side…so I fall in the middle of the road when it comes to my lashes…The CoverGirl Bombshell (in black) goes on easy, but it did get clumpy after the third application and it was hard for me to reach the inner corner of my lashes since the wand felt so big. I would suggest doing two thinner coats of the step one portion of the mascara. Then I moved on to the second part of the application, which is supposed to make your lashes appear darker and more luxe. I applied part two as soon as I was done with part one since the mascara did dry up quickly. Part one’s formula was on the dry side and part two was more wet, but once after applying part one I didn’t see much of a difference.

The brush on part one of the application looks like most of the other LashBlast mascaras…its the typical rubber bristles. Part two’s wand has the typical fiber mascara bristles.

Pros: The mascara is not liquidy, but not too dry which makes the application smooth. I noticed my lashes were thicker and had a lot more volume than my natural lashes. I did not get any real flaking…it really gripped my lashes. The mascara gives you a more natural look.

Cons: The size of the mascara wand is huge…no sure why its so big, I wish it were slimmer and smaller (the pink color is cute though…belongs in pro list)! I don’t think part two of the mascara is necessary and I didn’t see a difference. The thick formula was hard when washing off…I used  an Olay wipe to get it off at night and still felt some in the morning.

I am on the fence about this mascara…Part one is ok, but with my short lashes I need or want more length. But it may work wonders for you so check it out! Could be beneficial for someone who has long lashes but just wants more pop.
