TLC Crazy Sexy Cool

“CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” was a hit for VH1…drawing in 4.5 million total viewers on Monday night. The  biopic scored as the highest rated telecast on VH1 in over five years. As of 10 AM this morning, TLC’s new soundtrack for the film, “20” from Epic Records, jumped from #43 to #5 on the iTunes overall chart, and jumped to #1 on the iTunes R&B chart. Didn’t see it the first time check it out again Sunday, October 27th at 8 PM followed by “Behind the Music: TLC Remastered” at 10:30 PM and “Rock Docs: Last Days of Left Eye” at 11:30 PM.

But it wasn’t all celebrating,  TLC’s former manager, Perri “Pebbles” Reid did not like the way she was portrayed in the biopic, which is from the perspective of members,Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. “I don’t have an problems with her,” Chilli told Us Weekly. “This story is from our perspective…And we did not lie…We told the truth, and that’s how our experience was with her. That’s how it was.”  T-Boz added”We’ve always been open and honest about how much she’s done for us and the things she did give us. Throughout relationships, whether it’s mother, daughter, father, son, friends, whomever, you’ll have ups and downs, and you’ll disagree, and you won’t like everything that everybody does. And some people can’t take people moving on and they can’t take change. I don’t think [Pebbles has] ever gotten over the whole breakup of TLC.” Chilli chimed in, “Once we didn’t work with her anymore, we were fine.”
