Demi Lovato was not to happy with a pair of rappers who auditioned for The X Factor and rapped about ‘bath salts.’ ‘Bath salts’ is a street name for a mind altering drug that recently came to light after an incident where a man mauled another man’s face (some tests now say the man was not on ‘bath salts’) and was killed by police.
“She wasn’t having any of it,” a source confirms to E! News of what went down in Greensboro, N.C. “She said ‘It’s really irresponsible to be rapping about drugs in front of kids.’ Then they tried to make excuses and Demi said, ‘You talked about bath salts, I heard you.'”
Lovato told the young rappers to leave the stage, the source said, and the “rest of the judges completely backed her.”
