Oprah Winfrey had Chris Rock back on her show to comment on the media storm that has surrounded the documentary, “Good Hair”.
I found it very interesting that one woman on the show commented (without seeing the movie) that Chris was giving away black women’s  secrets. It was interesting because I thought the hair industry wasn’t a secret and if you wanted to you can look up anything on hair that you may not have known before. I mean YouTube has a video on everything!
Another woman found the documentary to be informative. She had never questioned how black women got their hair done and she was curious!
Another woman said that it opened up the communication about hair between her (she was black) and her co-workers (who were white).
It is all just so crazy…I Love It! I love everything hair…from shampoo, conditioner, and styling products and hair color  to weaves (or extensions) and wigs and hair pieces. I have had my hair dyed and relaxed. It’s a fun topic! I love to learn new things from all ethnicities and cultures.
