Enrique Iglesias had a little problem with the law recently. The Latin pop singer was arrested after he attempted the ‘seat switch’ with his passenger since his license is SUSPENDED. He was promptly arrested! Iglesias was arrested for driving with a suspended license and obstruction…for the seat switch.
According to the Miami-Dade County police, Iglesias was driving a white Cadillac in a closed express lane on May 6, when a trooper approached the SUV and pulled it over on a paved road. The officer says Iglesias “jumped from inside the driver’s seat onto the rear passenger’s seat,” and the passenger, Abel Tabuyo, “jumped from the front passenger’s seat onto the driver’s seat.” Both men were arrested, Iglesias with obstruction without violence and a suspended license. Tabuyo, was also slapped with an obstruction without violence charge. Both men were released after signing notices to appear in court and both plead not guilty.
No so good for the heartthrob.
