Stacy Ann Ferguson, who’s that…it’s Fergie (or Fergalicious or Fergie Ferg), but legally she wants to change her name to Fergie Duhamel. Fergie decided she wants to be known as Fergie, her professional moniker and Duhamel, her married last name. According to TMZ, Fergie has petitioned the court, filed in L.A. County Superior Court to change her name to “conform to the first name which she is commonly and professionally known as, and has been for many years.” Fergie will have to publish a notice in a local newspaper for four consecutive weeks and if completed by August 16, when a hearing is scheduled, she will probably get her name changed officially!
Who knew changing your name was so difficult!
