The eternal bachelor may be ready to say ‘I Do’ again. George Clooney and girlfriend, British lawyer Amal Alamuddin are allegedly engaged. A source close to the situation told People Clonney popped the question to Amal, “George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren’t really trying to hide this, it doesn’t seem. I think it’s like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever” and the engagement is fresh, “not that long ago, I think,” but the couple have no plans to get married just yet.
And…Amal was spotted wearing a suspicious ring on her left ring finger, another source told PEOPLE. This news comes on the heels of Clooney’s ex-girlfriend, Stacey Keibler getting married and announcing her pregnancy.
George and Amal were first spotted together in October 2013.
