The 71st Annual Golden Globes are that rare breed of awards show that combines TV, Movies, mini-series and music awards with food and drinks! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took the hosting helm for the next year in a row (and will return next year) and did a pretty good job. Check out the winners, the hits and the misses below:
Hits:
“Matt Damon is here for being in Behind The Candelabra. Any other night in any other room you’d be a big deal. Tonight you’re basically a garbage person.”
Best film nominee Gravity is about “how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die rather than spend another minute with a woman his own age,” Fey joked.
Leonardo DiCaprio comes out to present an award and Tina Fey says, “And now, like a supermodel’s vagina, let’s give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio.”
“Matthew McConaughey did amazing work this year. He lost 40 pounds for his role in Dallas Buyers Club – or what actresses call Being In A Movie.”

Misses:
Jacqueline Bisset win Best Supporting Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries and rambles about nothing. Her excuse… her hunger. “Sorry it took so long. I was in a daze. I was certainly surprised [to win], and I was completely out of it [just beforehand], thinking, ‘Where is my dinner?’ I still hadn’t gotten the dinner I was expecting.”
Rowan Farrow slams Woody Allen’s tribute tweeting, “Missed the Woody Allen tribute — did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?”
