Gotham co-stars Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie dropped a bombshell last week, they are expecting a baby amid her messy divorce from first husband, Austin Chick. And the expectant couple plan to marry. The relationship and pregnancy was a surprise not only to the public but Baccarin’s ex-husband who learned about the baby just a few weeks ago.
In a legal document obtained by TMZ, Baccarin says she got pregnant with McKenzie’s baby in June following her separation with Chick. But Chick says no way and that her pregnancy was the result of an affair. Chick later filed for divorce after learning of Baccarin’s pregnancy. TMZ obtained another legal doc revealing her next plans.”Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant.” Baccarin and Chick are currently in a bitter divorce and custody battle over their 1-year-old son.
It’s unclear how long Morena and Ben have been together, but it definitely feels rushed!
