Kanye West may not be a singer, but the rapper star snatched up a golden ticket during his American Idol audition. Kanye and wifey Kim Kardashian stopped by the audition during their trip to San Fransciso over the weekend. The power duo stopped by and Kanye performed “Gold Digger” for a surprised Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urbanand Harry Connick Jr.
Kanye was a really good sport with the audition Urban told ET saying, “When he came on, he just sort of came in like an audition. I said, ‘Tell us your name, where are you from?’ And he went right with it, which was great. I meant to ask him, ‘Are you married? Tell us a bit about your family.'” Lopez added,
“It livened up the whole place. We gave him a ticket — he can come to Hollywood if he wants. You can come, Kanye! I don’t know if you could’ve ever gotten there on your own, but you can get there now!”
Sounds like fun! Maybe he’ll actually stop by the next round…
