Wes Craven, the man behind, Scream and The Nightmare on Elm Street, has died. Craven passed away at 76 from brain cancer. The horror hero brought fear to our hearts and made us jump out of out chairs for the past few dacdes. I still can’t watch Nightmare on Elm Street or shall I say Freddy Krueger. Then there were the Scream movies…less fiction and but just as much blood. Craven was also the  exec producer on MTV’s new TV adaption of Scream.

He was survived by his wife, producer and former Disney Studios vice president Iya Labunka and two children.
