The Houstons: On Our Own finally premiered and there was a lot of tension and conflict, especially surrounding the relationship with Whitney Houston’s only daughter, Bobbi Kristina and her unofficial adopted brother, Nick Gordon. Bobbi was left to pick up the pieces after her mother’s death and she turned to brother turned boyfriend. The couple announce they are engaged in the episode to her family, aunt Pat Houston and uncle Gary Houston and they are not too happy. Gordon has to defend his relationship, “Everyone gets it wrong, I was never officially, it’s not incest.” He is right it’s not incest but Houston brought him in as a child and he grew up with Bobbi Kristina as a sibling.
