Everyone can relax because rising American Idol star, Casey Abrams is OK after getting a blood transfusion for ulcerative colitis. He was visibly absent from last night’s show and host Ryan Seacrest said he was in the hospital. BUt he was safe last night from elimination.

The condition, which causes abdominal pain and cramping, was treated at a hospital in Los Angeles, where Abrams, 20, received two blood transfusions Thursday night.
“Hey guys, thanks for the well wishes, I got some nice fresh blood in me and feeling better,” Abrams Tweeted Thursday. “People at Idol & Cedars are treatin me real good.”
But poor Ashthon Jones was sent packing last night! She was a wild card indeed and was voted off. The judges choose not to use their save on Ashthon as she didn’t really show enough to stay!
