Iggy Azalea needs to vent! Iggy took to Twitter to slam not only Maxim Australia, who used an old image of her on the cover from another photo shoot and her ex-boyfriend, Hefe Wine who allegedly threatened to say she gave him an STD in order to force her to settle out of court!
Iggy was just a little disappointed with Maxim Australia…for putting an old image of her in a sexy swimsuit from another photo shoot for Complex in 2011. Now her beef is not with Maxim, but rather the Australian division of her label who gave permission to the mag to be able to purchase the photo. Iggy would have loved to have a brand new shoot and accompanying interview. She tweeted,
Im going to publicly say something to the australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately.
stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.
australian label, i love you guys but you allowed my image to be sold to cosmo Aus when i told you i would prefer for that not to happen.
and now this morning i see you’ve allowed maxim australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover.
i think its awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but theres a right way to make that happen and the australian label
clearly aren’t respecting my wishes. a magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image.

Now on to her ex-bf, who is trying really hard to get some form of payment from Iggy, even resorting to claiming they were married in Texas…and by married he means a common law relationship since they lived together for a few years, but never signed a marriage certificate. Yea super shady!
Iggy went back on Twitter to blast Hefe Wine’s efforts after catching wind he would say she gave him and STD—if she didn’t settle with him out of court!
Ive settled 2 old contracts privately. Both got a very fair sums & went on about their lives. Real cases are handled in court, not the press
My lawyer agreed to be served “divorce” papers but they want to hire someone to serve me in person, probably so it can be another TMZ story.
I also was told yesterday via his lawyer if i do not settle out of court they will go to the press and say i gave him an STD, whats next?
Unfortunately to file common law “divorce” all you need is three of your friends to sign a statement swearing the persons story is true.
Actually proving it in court is another story im just waiting to get infront of a judge so it can be disproven & obtain a restraining order
The thing that i find awfully sad about this whole story is that the mother of this mans 3 year old child is in court right now…
saying he stalked, headbutted and tried to strangle her in january after their 7 year relationship ended.
Why is her truth being overlooked in favor of sensationalism? It makes me so sad & my heart goes out to Annette Buitrago.
Ive avoided texas entirely for the last 5 years. when i do go now i have a police escort & two armed bodyguards, evidently for good reason.
Since this whole “common law divorce” thing has gone public thankfully I’ve had so many women support me and come fwd with info.
i have such a great collection of witnesses now and I’m really excited to get my day in court and see justice prevail.
This is all so stressfull…its good Iggy is so level-headed and confident!
