Simpson stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and talked about her ‘shocking’ second pregnancy and her possible new TV sitcom. Jessica Simpson was all set to walk down the aisle with fiance, Eric Johnson and both times he knocked up her up, putting her wedding on hold twice. Simpson told Leno “We’re doing it very backwards, I know…I’ll just keep my legs crossed, I guess, this time.”
When Leno asked her about her second pregnancy, so soon after having baby Maxwell she replied, “Apparently it was a part of God’s plan for my life. I was extremely shocked…because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes, trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica. You know, it was kind of like a one-night stand. And it happened, all over again!”
Simpson also touched on her new pilot about her life. When Leno asked if the show was, “About a girl who keeps getting pregnant?” She replied, “Yes! Yes, and how that girl deals with that and everything else…I will be playing myself, which is pretty easy.”
What do you think about a show surrounding Jessica’s life…didn’t do too well for Chelsea Handler’s Are You There, Chelsea? Maybe Jess has better luck.
