Kara DioGuardi has landed on her feet after being fired from American Idol this year…which is great! Kara will be a judge on a song writing competition on Bravo TV. Kara is a famed song writer so she should fit right in!

Former ‘American Idol’ judge Kara DioGuardi is back in the game with her own reality TV series, ‘Going Platinum.’ ‘Platinum’ will be a songwriting competition that pits contestants (who will live together) against one another, as they vie for a $100,000 grand prize.
“Hit songs are the backbone of the music industry, and as a publisher, nothing excites me more than finding new songwriting talent,” DioGuardi told PEOPLE. “I am happy to be a part of a show that helps up-and-coming songwriters pursue their dreams, while giving the public a look into the creative process.”
She will be head judge on the 10-episode series. Singer Jewel will serve as host. ‘Going Platinum’ is scheduled to premiere next year, Bravo announced Tuesday.
