"RAGE" Official Launch Party - Arrivals

Sephora was forced to pull a Kat Von D lipstick after the name was deemed insensitive. Kat has a successful edgy makeup line at Sephora, but after one of her lipsticks named, “Celebutard” appeared on a Mommy blog (of a mother who has a child with a disability) and was deemed inappropriate. Sephora released a statement, “It has come to our attention that the name of one shade of a lipstick we carry has caused offense to some of our clients and others. We are deeply sorry for that, and we have ceased sale of that shade both in our stores and online.”We all know Kat likes things a little different…but shouldn’t Sephora have caught that obvious mistake. Kat did address the issue tweeting, “At the end of the day, it’s just a f—— lipstick,” which she has since deleted.
