For years and years we all wondered why Rose didn’t try a little hard to her beau Jack in Titanic. And we always came to the same conclusion and now we get to hear Kate’s side of the story…Rose could have very well saved Jack instead of letting him freeze in the icy ocean.

Kate Winslet stopped by Jimmy Kimnmel Live and admitted the obvious…she was a little selfish and let Leonardo DiCaprio “freeze to death. I think he could have actually fit on that bit of door,” Winslet said.

You know what I always thought…that even though Jack could have fit on the door—maybe when he was trying to get on top of the door he would have tipped it over, along with his love Rose.

Leo and Kate have remained friends for the past two decades. “People are always so excited to see Leo and myself in the same space, which at the end of the day, that’s so lovely, isn’t it?” the star said. “It’s been 20 years and people still get such a kick out of it. It’s really quite endearing. And we do laugh about it.”
