Kathy Griffin has officially been named the new ‘Fashion Police’ and there will be a new face on the panel of fashion critics…fashion stylist Brad Goreski (you know him from The Rachel Zoe Project and “It’s A Brad Brad World”) will join Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic when the show returns Monday, January 12, 2015 with Golden Globes coverage.
“I get it! These are some big shoes I’m going to fill. Joan was truly one of a kind. Now I hope you will accept me for me. I’m just Kathy. Did I say I’m just Kathy? I meant I’m Kathy F***ing Griffin and you celebrities better strap yourself in, as I am taking no prisoners. I am not holding back so DAMMIT let’s have some fun!” Kathy said about her new gig.
Griffin will be taking over hosting duties for the late Joan Rivers, who also happened to be a close friend of Joan. The show will not longer run weekly and will focus solely on awards shows and red carpets with 17 style-studded episodes throughout the year, focused exclusively on the excitement surrounding the biggest red carpet and fashion events of 2015 including the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, New York Fashion Week and more.
“Kathy just feels right, and Brad brings a fun, new voice to join Giuliana and Kelly in this ensemble,” said Melissa Rivers, Executive Producer. “I’m excited to see where this panel takes this series my mother so adored in this next incarnation.”
It’s unknown what happened to stylist George Kotsiopoulos. Was he bumped from the show or did he leave willingly?
