Katie Couric is making a Today show comeback, but sadly it’s only temporary. Now that Savannah Guthrie is pregnant and heading off on maternity leave soon (late summer)…Matt Lauer will need a co-host and it looks like good pal and former co-host, Katie will take the seat according to Page Six! And if Katie brings in the ratings, NBC would try and accommodate her in a more permanent position. But NBC is looking at others like Meredith Vieira, who also co-hosted the Today show for a few years. But as of yet there are no negotiations, just friendly talks.
