Katie Holmes chauffeured Mercedes was sideswiped last night by a garage truck. Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were both in the car at the time, but no one was injured. Holmes and Cruise were on their way home from gymnastics at Chelsea Piers.
Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were leaving Chelsea Piers Monday night when their Mercedes got sideswiped by a garbage truck — denting the ride but doing no harm to anyone inside.
Suri had been at a gymnastics class at Chelsea Piers. The scrape-up happened about 9:30 p.m. on W. 33rd St., between Seventh and Eighth Aves., police said. Holmes and Suri were passengers, and their driver was the only other person inside the ’Benz, a police source said.
“It was nothing major other than the fact that it was Katie Holmes,” the source said.
Suri has been video chatting with her father Tom Cruise while he was filming a new movie…he will be seeing her soon.
