Katy Perry was spotted getting cuddly with her new guy, Robert Ackroyd, a guitarist for Florence + the Machine. The two kissed and cuddled as they enjoyed the Coachella Music Festival this past weekend. I guess model Baptiste Giabiconi is a thing of the past! (Photos here)!
According to Us Magazine,
Katy Perry was among the many celebs at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. over the weekend. And the “Part of Me” singer, 27, had a handsome male companion by her side for the outdoor fest: Robert Ackroyd, a guitarist for Florence + the Machine.
In photos from Sunday, the star, who reached a divorce settlement with Russell Brand in February, packed on the PDA with the tattooed British rocker as they took in the shows: Hugging, holding hands and kissing in the audience.
Although British comic Brand, 36, has reportedly been dating up a storm following the dissolution of his 14-month marriage to Perry, the chart-topping singer’s love life has been much quieter, and she’s been focusing instead an upcoming 3-D concert film, commercial shoots and more.
And her weekend hookup with Ackroyd may just be a fun distraction.
“Katy’s been trying to get [Russell] back!” a close Perry pal told Us Weekly recently. “She’s a lost soul right now.”
